Dental Implants;-
Why Implants??
It has been tested that bone beneath dental bridges losses quicker than in the case of implants. Bone loss will produce a spot between the bridge margin and gums. This causes food entrapment within the area. The implant mimics the replacement as a natural tooth and maintains the blood supply of the jaw bone.
Dental Implants restore the mastication functions much better than those of typical dentures. It doesn’t have large dental flanges as in alternative dentures in order that they are quite comfy with larger acceptance.
How Long it’ll Last?
Dental implants are made from the pure metal. If placed properly with experienced hands and with the great post-operative care they’ll last for your rest of life. Accidents or any major bone unwellness are the exceptions.

Single Tooth And Full Mouth Implants:-

Earlier The Better:-
During the first year since you have removed your tooth, the bone will lose faster due to non-stimulus. An implant makes the bone active and helps in maintaining the bone in a very healthy state. In some cases, it’s possible currently to position the implant on the same visit scheduled for removing the tooth.
How much does the Implant cost?
Expense is always relative. For example, dental implants maybe a little more expensive than fixed bridgework to place initially, but since they last so much longer, over time they are much more cost-effective. Additionally, the adjacent teeth are not unnecessarily cut is the biggest benefit in this kind of tooth replacement procedure.
What Exactly Is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is a threaded titanium block which is tapered like a dental root that is strong enough for a post to be placed inside it. Once the implant and post are placed, the dentist finishes the tooth with a cap or crown. Many people incorrectly believe that a dental implant makes up the entire replacement tooth; in fact, the implant replaces the root only.
After Osseointegration, or when the surrounding bone has attached to the implant, the dentist places the crown or cap on top of the implant
Am I a good candidate for dental implants?
Anyone who is healthy enough to undergo a tooth extraction is likely a suitable candidate for dental implants. General good health and adequate bone in the jaw are the key requirements. Anyone who is missing one or more teeth due to injury, disease or decay may be a candidate for dental implants.
I have some of my own teeth. Can I still have implants?
Yes. You can have any number of teeth replaced with implants - from one single tooth to a complete set.
How many implants do i need?
If you have a single tooth missing, you will need an implant to support it. If you have a number of teeth missing, and these are next to each other, you could still have one implant for each tooth. IF your bone is good in terms of quality and quantity even 2 implants can support the entire jaw..in some cases 4 implants can support the full jaw. How long does the entire treatment take?
Your dental team will be able to give you a rough timetable before the treatment starts.
Teeth can now even be fitted at the same time as the implants (these are called ‘immediate implants'). Check with our dental team to see whether these are suitable for you. Usually, the teeth are fitted 3 to 4 months after the implants are put in. Sometimes treatment takes longer and your dental team will be able to talk to you about your treatment time.
Will I be without my teeth during treatment?
During the initial healing period, dentures or partials can be worn over the implants while they mature. The temporary teeth will be made prior to the removal of the existing teeth in cases where tooth removal and implant replacement is required.
Are the implant teeth difficult to clean?
No. But aftercare is important if you are going to have a long-lasting, successful implant. Your dental team should give you detailed advice on how to look after your implants. Cleaning around the teeth attached to the implants is no more difficult than cleaning natural teeth. However, there may be areas that are difficult to reach and you'll be shown how to clean them. You may need to visit your hygienist more often but your dental team will be able to talk to you about this.
